ORDER

The above Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking to call for the records of FIR in Crime No.2 of 2018, on the file of the Respondent Police, and quash the same. Heard both sides.

When the matter is taken up today, the learned learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the he is not pressing the petition for the quashing of FIR. However, he would submit that the case has been registered on 31.05.2018 and despite the lapse of a year, the respondent has not the investigation and filed the final report and would pray for a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, would submit that apart from this case, yet another case has also been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

registered against the petitioner in FIR No. 2/2016 and that the respondent is also conducting investigation in both the cases. He would further submit that since voluminous documents have to be verified in both the cases, the respondent has to be given sufficient time to complete the investigation. Recording the same, this petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation within a period of six months from today.
