ORDER
These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking to direct the respondents to settle one time payments of the entire retirement benefits of the petitioner, i.e., Provident Fund, Gratuity, Commutation Fund, Leave Encashment, College Fund, SSS Fund and other attendant benefits and enhanced dearness allowance 1/4
along with 18% interest on delayed payment from 30.06.2019 to till the date of disbursement of the terminal benefits to the petitioner.
2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that he joined in the respondent Corporation and he had retired from his service on 30.06.2019. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that the respondent had not paid the retirement benefits such as Provident Fund, Gratuity, Commutation Fund, Leave Encashment, College Fund, SSS Fund and other attendant benefits and enhanced dearness allowance along with 18% interest on delayed payment from 30.06.2019. Hence, he made representation on 13.02.2013, requesting the respondent to settle the retirement benefits along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum, however, the same has not been considered. Hence, this writ petition.
3. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the retirement benefits have not been paid to the petitioner on time, which is the last source of income to the retired employee. Hence, seeks this Court for a direction to the respondent to disburse the same along with interest.
4. In such view of the matter, the respondent Corporation is directed to 2/4
settle the terminal benefits to the petitioner such as Provident Fund, Gratuity, Commutation Fund, Leave Encashment, College Fund, SSS Fund, other attendant benefits and dearness allowance, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, with interest at the rate of 4% per annum for delayed period.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
