ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the petitioner's land in S.No.302/11 to an extent of 700 1/2 sq.ft out of 1.29 Ares in Koogaiyur Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District based on the petitioner's online Application No.2025/N123/33/005039 dated 10.03.2025.

3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has purchased a vacant land measuring an extent of 700 1/2 sq.ft out of 1.29 Ares in Koogaiyur Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District from Ramalingam, Anjalai, Iswarya, Solaiyammal, Sathiya, Selvakumar and Vignesh by way of a registered Sale Deed dated 25.01.2025 and the same was registered before the Sub Registrar, Chinnasalem vide Document No.322/2025. In order to identify the boundaries, the petitioner paid prescribed fee of Rs.860/- on 10.03.2025 2/6

vide Application No.2025/N123/33/005039 and applied for measuring and demarcating the lands in S.No.302/11. However, the petitioner's online application was not considered by the respondents till date, thus the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.On this being pointed out, the learned Government Advocate would submit that they would consider the petitioner's online application and carry out a survey and demarcate the petitioner's land at the subject property within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondents to carry out a survey, demarcate the petitioner's land and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
