This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents herein to issue patta in respect of the petitioner's land measuring an extent of 1.28 acre bearing patta No.219 falls in the survey No.842 and Town Survey Nos.9, 9/1 and 9/2 which is situated at Korattur Village, Ambattur Taluk and Chennai District within a time stipulated by this Court.

On instruction, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the subject land has already been acquired and all the revenue records have been mutated in the name of SIDCO. Therefore, the petitioner is not entitled to claim any title over the property.

As such, the request made by the petitioner cannot be 2/4
