ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.2 of 2020 pending on the file of the respondent within a time frame as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.2 of 2020. Her contention is that despite registration of F.I.R., no worthwhile investigation conducted and the charge sheet yet to be filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that major portion of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

investigation completed. He would also submit that the petitioner was directed to produce marriage certificate and other marriage related documents and she is yet to furnish the same. In view of the same, the investigation could not be completed.

4. The learned counsel for petitioner would submit that she would produce all the documents before the respondent police on 12.10.2021 and on future dates.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

6. In view of the above, it is made clear that after the petitioner/defacto complainant furnish necessary documents required by the prosecution, thereafter, the charge sheet would be filed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
