2. According to the petitioners, they are all members of the Village Panchayat and they have made several representations to the first to fourth respondents, making certain allegations against the style of functioning of the President of the Village Panchayat, namely the fifth respondent. The second respondent in his proceedings dated 22.02.2023 in Na.Ka.No.709/2023/A12, directed the third respondent to take necessary action on the complaints referred to in the proceedings. The main grievance of the petitioners is the complaints made by the petitioners against the fifth respondent have not been considered by the third respondent, in spite of directions issued by the second respondent.
3. Mrs.S.Anitha, leanred Special Government Pleader takes notice for the first to third respondents. Mr.D.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the fourth respondent. 3/6
4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the complaints made by the petitioners on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
