ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the mother of one Mohana aged 19 years. On the allegation, she has been found missing from 26.04.2016, the petitioner has
come up with this petition.
2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up, there was no representation for the petitioner. The petitioner also did not make appearance. But her husband Karthikeyan, s/o Venkatesan made appearance. The respondent/Inspector of Police produced a letter written by Mohana addressed to the Inspector of Police. She has stated in the said letter that on her own accord, she married one Mr.Veeramani on 29.4.2016 and from then, she has been living with him as his wife. Mr.Karthikeyan, who is present in Court submitted that it is true that there has happened a marriage between Mohana and Veeramani and they have returned to the village also. He would further submit that today, they have gone to a temple and therefore, they are not able to appear before this Court. He prayed for dismissal of the petition as the purpose is served.
3. The same is recorded. In view of the endorsement made by Mr.Karthikeyan, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. kua (S.N.J.,) (V.B.D.J.,) 26.07.2016
