Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records relating to detention order passed by the second respondent made in D.O. No.74/2021-C2 dated 08.09.2021 detaining the detenu under 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982, as a GOONDA and quash the same and direct the respondent to produce the detenu Ramajeyam, Son of Venkatachalam, aged about 36 years, who is detained at Central Prison, Vellore, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

[Made by R.HEMALATHA, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.74/2021-C2 dated 08.09.2021, detaining her husband as "GOONDA" under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.5072, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 28.10.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
