This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the third respondent to pay a compensation for sum of Rs.10,00,000/- towards metal agony, torture and also head-wise charges, charged for a sum of Rs.5,87,995/- abnormally to the petitioner for 6 days treatment in the name of Covid-19 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2020.
2. As per G.O.(Ms). No. 240, Health and Family Welfare (EAPI-1) Department dated 05.06.2020, the fees structure were ordered to be collected by the private hospital. Therefore, today, the third respondent has returned a sum of Rs.2,06,700/- by way of Demand Draft drawn on Indian Bank dated 15.06.2024, which was excessively collected from the petitioner 2/4
and the same has been received by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. In view of the above, recording the payment of Rs.2,06,700/- in favour of the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. 19.06.2024 Index:Yes/No kv To
