ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd Respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.12.2022 with regard to the inclusion of the name of the petitioner to the post of Sub Inspector of Police under 10% Ward quota in the SC category.

2. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that he has applied for the post of Constable in the recruitment held during the year 2015. According to him, when there is no women candidates qualified and the same shall be adopted with men. The petitioner obtained 42 marks, such exercise is not done by the respondent. Therefore, in this regard, he has already given representation which is pending without consideration.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. This Court is of the view that the very direction to consider the representation will not serve any purpose. The recruitment is of the year 2015. As per the communication issued by the Director General of Police/Chairperson, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board to the Chairperson, Social Justice Monitoring Committee, Chennai dated 11.01.2023 which is available in the very typedset itself would clearly indicate that all the 2/4

posts have been filled in the year 2015 in the above recruitment process.

5. Such view of the matter, mere considering representation will not serve any purpose. Accordingly, I do not find any merits in this case.

6. In view of the above, writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 12.07.2023 dhk Index:Yes/No Internet: Yes/No To 1.The Secretary to Government Home (Police II) Department Fort St.George Secretariat Chennai - 600 009 2.The Director General of Police Dr.Radhakrishnan Salai Mylapore, Chennai 3.The Chairman Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 002 N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.
