(Order of the Court was made by M. SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) (Through Video Conferencing) The matter in issue pertains to the approval granted to the private respondents for laying of pipelines to take the water on the road margin to their respective agricultural lands.
2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, after some arguments, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to avail the remedy in the form of representation before the jurisdictional District
Collector, as well as to the Public Works Department officials, and also undertakes to send an endorsement to that effect, through e-mail, to the Registry of this Court. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 to 7, who on instructions, would submit that, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.70, Public Works (N1) Department, dated 02.03.2020, permission has been accorded. 4.In the light of the same, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn and the liberty sought for by the petitioner is granted. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
