Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, pleased to call for the records in Crime No.66 of 2024 dated 10.04.2024 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Berigai Police Station, Krishnagiri District, 1st respondent herein for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 324 & 506(ii) of IPC and quash the same as against the petitioners.

O R D E R

A complaint and complaint in counter been registered by the respondent police in Crime Nos.66 and 67 of 2024. Since the occurrence has taken place during the temple festival, both the groups have lodged the complaint and the same are under investigation. While so, the accused in Crime No.66 of 2024 is before this Court to quash the complaint.

This Court, on perusal of the record, finds that being the complaint and complaint in counter, same has to be investigated by the respondent police as per the Police Standing Order 566 (2) and file final report based on the material collected during the investigation. Section 482 Cr.P.C., petition cannot pre conclude the investigation by entertaining quash petition. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
