O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 11.06.2021, wherein the petitioner has sought for separate drainage connection in her name.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 30.09.2021, considering the complaint made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court passed the following order:

2.The learned standing counsel shall take instructions and ensure that the sewage blockage is removed. If any law and order problem is created, it is left open to the second respondent to seek for police protection and if the officials are prevented from performing their duties, it is also open to the police to register an FIR and proceed further in accordance with law. 3.Post this case under the caption, 'for reporting compliance'

on 07.10.2021.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the directions issued by this Court has been complied with and the Officials went to the spot and found that there was an artificial blockage in the sewage connection and the same was removed by the officials yesterday with police protection. The said submission made by the learned Standing Counsel is recorded.

4.The main relief that has been sought for in this writ petition pertains to the request made by the petitioner for a separate drainage connection. The second respondent shall consider the representation made by the petitioner on 11.06.2021 and take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If ultimately the second respondent considers the request made by the petitioner favourably, it goes without saying that the petitioner has to pay all the necessary charges to effect such a connection.

5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
