ORDER

The subject matter of challenge in this writ petition is the impugned letter dated 13.07.2018 issued by the first respondent, wherein the petitioner was informed that her candidature has lapsed and is treated as withdrawn and the petitioner was directed to apply afresh for getting permission to pursue Ph.D. Program.

2. Heard Mr.G.Magesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned counsel appearing for the first and second respondents.

3. In the considered view of this Court, the communication dated 13.07.2018 is being challenged after nearly three years. No useful purpose will be served in interfering with the impugned letter issued by the first respondent at this stage. Even if it is interfered, the petitioner will have to pursue the Ph.D. Program afresh. Therefore, it will be fit and proper if the petitioner once again applies for permission to pursue the Ph.D.Program before the respondents.

4. Except giving this liberty, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. If the petitioner fulfills the requirements, necessary permission shall be granted to the petitioner to pursue the Ph.D. Program.

5. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-IV) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar KST To 1 The Registrar
