This Review Application has been filed under Order XLVII Rule 1 r/w Section 114 of the Code of Civil Procedure against the order passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.14999 of 2005, dated 12.09.2016.
In all Review Applications:- For Petitioners : Mr.S.Murugappan For Respondents : Mr.V.Sundareswaran Senior Panel Counsel COMMON O R D E R These Review Applications have been filed to review the common order passed by this Court, in W.P.Nos.20241 & 20242 and 14999 to 15002, 16137 dated 12.09.2016 After elaborately hearing the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court is of the view that there is no error apparent on the face of record, more particularly, in the findings recorded in para No.18 of the order passed in the afore mentioned Writ Petitions. The contentions raised in these Review Applications, if, to be taken into consideration, it would amount to rehearing the matter. It is settled legal position that a Review is not an Appeal in disguise. Thus, in the absence of any error apparent on the face of record, this Court is not inclined to exercise its review jurisdiction, moreso when, no grounds have been made out by the review applicants to entertain this Review Application.
In the upshot, all the Review Applications are dismissed. No costs. 03.11.2016 sd Index : yes/no To 1.
