ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No. 03 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police, on instructions from the Investigation Officer, submitted that the investigation has been completed and the final report has been prepared and submitted to the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for opinion. It was further submitted that in any event, the final report will be filed within a period of one month.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.03 of 2022 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
