This application has been filed by the learned Administrator General & Official Trustee seeking permission for donating a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- for the renovation of the sanctum of Lord Nataraja situate within the precinct of Sri Kaligambal Kamadeshwarar Temple at Thambu Chetty Street, Chennai 600 001.

2. The accumulated funds are available in the Trust viz. Madras Ordnance Pensioned Lascars Charities. It is seen that the scheme framed by this Court in CS No.177 of 39 permits such donations.

3. In view of the same, the application is allowed, the learned Administrator General & Official Trustee is permitted to donate a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- to the temple for the purposes of renovating the sanctum of Lord Nataraja situate within the precinct of the temple. 11.06.2025 jv 2/4
