Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus calling for the entire records leading to the detention of petitioner's wife S.Anjali, aged about 36 years, presently detained in Special Prison for Women, Puzhal, Chennai-600 066 vide detention order under Section 3(1) read with Section 3(1) read with Section 3(2)(b) of the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 made against Tmt.Anjali vide order No.8/2005, dated 30.12.2015 and to direct to produce body or the person of the Detenue before this Court and thereafter set her at liberty from the Special Prison for Women, Puzhal, Chennai-600 066 by setting aside the above order. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) Challenging the order of detention dated 30.12.2015 made by the 2nd respondent by proceedings in Memo No.8/Black Marketing Act/2015, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Obviously, the detention period has been expired. Therefore, this petition is dismissed.
