Respondent Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the respondent passed in Ref.Na.Ka.A1/3185/02(2), dated 18.08.2008 and quash the same and consequently, directing the respondent herein to consider the promotion of the petitioner as Deputy Inspector of Survey with all monetary and attendant benefits on par with the juniors.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted a letter dated 22.06.2018, to the Registry, seeking withdrawal of the Writ Petition.

Today, when the matter is called, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the above letter and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
