Respondents Writ petition have been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 28.06.2010 made in Na.Ka.No.634/2010-3 by the 1st respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent herein to register the Settlement Deed dated 16.04.2010 (P.Doc.No.56/10) executed by the petitioner with regard to R.S.No.2024/1, admeasuring 22 grounds and 75 sq. ft. situate at Mundakkanni Amman Koil Street, Mylapore, Chennai-4. ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition to quash the impugned order dated 28.06.2010 passed by the first respondent and consequently, direct the first respondent to register the settlement deed dated 16.04.2010.

2.Today, when the matter came up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned counsel for the second respondent, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, a suit in CS.No.694 of 2012 came to be filed seeking the relief as sought for herein and the same was subsequently, dismissed by this Court, vide judgment dated 09.10.2017 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the second respondent, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
