O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate-III, Thirupattur, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu to calendar number the case in P.R.C.No.07/2015 in Cr.No.03/2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Alangayam Police Station, Vellore District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that while pending committal proceedings in PRC stage, the accused has approached this Court to quash the entire proceedings in Crl.OP.No.19990 of 2016and this Court by its order dated 13.03.2020 dismissed the said quash petition. However, even till today, the matter is pending committal before the Sessions Court, since it is a triable case by the Sessions Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate-III, Thirupathur, Vellore District is directed to complete the committal proceedings in P.R.C.No.7 of 2015 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
