ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 22.05.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for extension of his tenure as a President/Muthavalli of Masjid E. Mubarak, till the election is conducted. 2.Heard Mr.V.Nithyanandam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.Abdul Mubeen, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he is presently functioning as the President/Muthavalli and that till the election is conducted by the Board,

3/5 President wants to continue in the said position. A representation was made in this regard. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 22.05.2025 and take a decision and convey the same to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
