The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 08.02.2020 relating to return the deposit amount and savings account amount in connection with A/c.No.61382200003175 in the Syndicate Bank, Puliyakulam Coimbatore in the name of K.Rangasamy within the time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2.Heard the arguments advanced on either side. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father is suffering from cardiac arrest and stroke and he is taking treatment continuously as his entire body is not able to move. Since her father is bedridden, the economic condition of the family is very weak. The petitioner's grandfather has a bank account in Syndicate Bank, and the A/c.No. is 61382200003175 and he has fixed deposit and invested some money in the above said savings account. It is further submission of the petitioner that her grandfather died in the year 2012 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

after his death, the petitioner's father was also affected by stroke. Hence, the family is in need of money and to withdraw the deposit and other savings amount deposited by her grandfather to meet her father's medical treatment. Thus the petitioner has approached the respondent bank and submitted representation, but the respondent has not considered the petitioner's family situation. Further, she made a representation dated 08.02.2020 to the respondent seeking to return the deposit amount and close the savings account and return the amount connected with A/c.No.61382200003175 in the Syndicate Bank, Puliyakulam, Coimbatore within the time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. Hence, this writ petition. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2020 and to pass appropriate orders.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since the petitioner has not submitted any FD receipts and in the absence of any proof regarding deposit made by the grandfather, this Court is not inclined to grant any positive order in favour of the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file fresh petition along with FD receipts and other proofs. If any such representation is filed, the same shall be considered expeditiously by the respondent in accordance with law.
