Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to consider and dispose of the petitioners application for sub division patta transfer vide CAN No.133050624421766 and application no.2026/0105/05/001874 dated
22.01.2026, by conducting survey and demarcation of the petitioners land comprised in survey nos.285/1A, 285/2 situated at Gujjarahalli village, palacode taluk, Dharmapuri District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Honble Court and consequently direct the respondents 5 and 6 to provide adequate police protection for conducting such survey based on my representation. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.01.2026.
2. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.Durai Gunasekaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 5 & 6.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an application dated 22.01.2026 before the respondents, requesting for sub-division and patta transfer of the subject property. However,
the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation was already rejected by the respondents vide order dated 13.03.2026 on the ground of lack of information on the part of petitioner. Hence, he requests this Court to close this petition.
6. In the case on hand, the petitioner had filed an application dated 22.01.2026 for sub-division of the subject land and transfer of patta in favour of the petitioner.
7. Today, it was submitted by the respondents that the petitioner's representation was already rejected by the respondents vide order dated 13.03.2026 on the ground of lack of information on the part of petitioner.
8. In view of the above, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation along with all the relevant documents. Upon receipt of the petitioner's representation, the respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law.
