This petition is filed to condone the delay of 771 days in filing the above said appeal.

2.Considering the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the delay of 771 days is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) to the Member Secretary, High Court Legal Services Authority, High Court Buildings, Chennai, within a period of one week, failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court. The Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered accordingly. Further, the petitioner is also not permitted to claim any interest in respect of the delay period in filing the appeal.
