This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.137 of 2012, on the file of V Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai-8.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent-Police submits that the petitioner has already filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.5764 of 2012, which was dismissed by this Court on 10.04.2012.

3. By suppressing the earlier petition filed by the petitioner, he has filed the above Criminal Original Petition. Hence, on the sole ground, the above Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
