Mr.R,Rajesh Vivekanathan, the learned Asst. Solicitor General, takes notice on behalf of the first Respondent.

2. The case of the Petitioner is that the second Respondent is the daughter-in-law of the Petitioner and is receiving family pension and she was appointed on compassionate ground on account of the death of her son / husband of second Respondent but has allegedly contracted a second marriage and is neglecting the Petitioner who is the only other legal heir of her deceased son Late L/Nk(OpR) Viji P.

3. Considering the fact that the second Respondent appears to have allegedly contracted a second marriage after getting appointment on compassionate ground and continues to receive the family pension, the first Respondent is directed to consider representation dated 14.07.2021 of the Petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed with the above direction. No costs.
