The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a mandamus to forbear the respondents, their men, agents or servants or any other persons claiming under them from dispossessing the petitioners forcibly from their respective lands bearing Survey Nos.1146 & 1147 in Claveri Hamlet Akkarakadu Poondy Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District without following the due process of law.

2.There has been no representation for the petitioners during the earlier hearings on 18.06.2018, 21.06.2018 and 26.06.2018, as well as today despite the matter being posted under the caption 'For Dismissal'. Mr.K.S.Suresh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents is present. Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
