ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the learned Judicial MagistrateII, Hosur to commit the case in PRC No.12 of 2018 to the Court of Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri.

2.The petitioner is a defacto complainant who is aggrieved by the fact that the committal proceedings is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Hosur from the year 2018 onwards. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking for appropriate directions to expedite the case. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Housur committed the case to the Principal Sessions Court, Krishnagiri by an order dated 11.07.2023. A copy of the daily status order was also produced before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the crime number is of the year 2016 and it was pending at the stage of committal for the last five years, this Court is inclined to direct the concerned Sessions Court to complete the trial and pass final orders in the case, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. A compliance report shall also be filed before this Court.
