ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to provide the writ petitioner the alternative job of "Time Keeper" in the Metropolitan Transport Corporation on the ground of Disability Certificate issued by the Medical Board based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2023.

2. The facts of the present case is that petitioner was working as a Conductor in the respondent Corporation. During the course of employment, he met with accident due to which he lost his left index fingers and the Medical Board has given him unfit certificate to continue his conductor job. Hence, for a short period, he was given the job of time keeper from 13.09.2019 to 23.03.2023 and thereafter, he was not permitted to do any job. Hence, the petitioner gave representation on 03.05.2023 to the second respondent seeking to provide the Time Keeper job, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this petition.

3.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the limited relief as sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of 2/4

receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
