PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2024 for related to survey and fix boundary line in petitioner's property situated at Vallur -II Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District in respect of old Survey No.519/1A, as per patta new survey No.519/1A2 total extent of 0.22 cent vacant land with assistance of 5th respondent in accordance with law.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 3rd respondent to consider his representation dated 21.06.2024 for survey of the land situated in Old Survey No. 519/1A, New Survey No.519/1A2 with an extent of 0.22 cents situated in Vallur -II Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

2. According to the petitioner, he purchased the above mentioned land under sale deed dated 15.09.2017 and has been in possession and enjoyment 2/5

of the same. He submitted a representation on 21.06.2024 seeking survey of the land and fixation of boundaries. He also paid necessary charges for survey of the land as seen from acknowledgment issued dated 05.07.2024 enclosed in the typed set of papers.

3. Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.S.Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the 5th respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that representation of the petitioner will be considered within a time fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner for survey of his property, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.06.2024 and pass final orders on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3/5
