This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings pending in C.C. No.159/2017 pending on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate - I at Poonammallee and quash the proceedings in the said case.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate submitted that in C.C.No.159/2017, trial is almost completed and only few more witnesses have to be examined.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the Criminal Original Petition is closed and the parties are directed to participate in the trial and contest the main case itself. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
