Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to issue process to the respondents and punish them under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act for their wilful violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.8194 of 2011 dated 08.09.2021. This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 08.09.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.8194 of 2011, thereby directing the second respondent to issue notice to the petitioners and call for objection, if the second respondent requires the subject land for public purpose and intends to cancel the re-conveyance order pass in G.O.Ms.No.222 dated 06.11.1995, and after conducting enquiry pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submitted that in pursuant to the direction issued by this Court, the respondent issued notice to the petitioners in order to cancel the reconveyance order passed in G.O.Ms.No.222 dated 06.11.1995. 3.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
