ORDER
Today, this matter has been listed under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Mayiladuthurai.
2. It is seen from the records, while disposing the Criminal Appeal in Crl.A.No.995 of 2024, this Court, by an order dated 27.08.2024, directed the Trial Court to examine the witnesses from 06.09.2024, the schedule to be drawn for examination of the witnesses and the trial to be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. However, the District and Sessions Judge, Mayiladuthurai, has sent a communication dated 18.06.2025 in D.No.2983/2025, narrating the sequence of proceedings in Spl.S.C.No.220 of 2024 and sought for further period to dispose of the said case.
3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case,
