The Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioner directing the Respondents to refund the E-payment amount of Rs. 4,42,450/- vide E-Payment Application reference No.

This Court during the earlier hearing on 24.07.2019, had recorded the submissions made by the Learned Special Government Pleader that the excess payment claimed to have been made by the Petitioner would be refunded and a report of the action taken would be filed within a period of four weeks and hence the matter is listed today.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, states that, the Credit Verification Certificate has been received from Pay and Accounts Officer (East), Chennai-8 on 26.08.2019 and has presented the Bill to the Sub Treasury Office, Tambaram for the refund amount and it will be credited in the Petitioner's bank account within a period of one week and the copy of the same has been produced before this Court, which is recorded. Nothing remains for further consideration in the matter.
