The Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the V Additional Family Court, Chennai, to expedite the hearing in HMOP.No.2549 of 2021 pending on the file of V Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 1/4

3.Pursuant to my order dated 18.06.2025, the learned V Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, has filed his report stating that two OPs, namely, O.P.No.2549 of 2021 and O.P.No.2991 of 2023 have been jointly tried and the same were posted for trial on 04.07.2025 finally and seeks three months time to dispose of the said OPs.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for, notice to the respondent is dispensed with. In view of the above, the learned V Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of HMOP.No.2549 of 2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
