Application No.3493 of 2024 Application No.3493 of 2024 Krishnan Ramasamy,J., This application is filed to extend the mandate of the learned Arbitrator for further period of six months so as to enable him to pass award.

2. Mr.N.Madhusruthi, learned counsel for the applicants would submit that the settlement talks between the parties came to an end on March, 2024 however, since the referral period of one year for passing the award got expired on May, 2023, the present application came to be filed seeking for the aforesaid prayer.

3. Ms.M.Sandhya, learned counsel for the respondents has no objection for granting the relief.

4. This Court, upon hearing the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned counsel for the respondents, who has no objection for extending the mandate and having satisfied with the reasons stated in the supporting affidavit of this application, is inclined to extend the Mandate of the Arbitrator by another period of six months.

5. Accordingly, this application is ordered. Consequently, the Mandate of the Arbitrator is extended for a further period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order by the learned Arbitrator from the Registry.
