S.VAIDYANATHAN,J & V.SIVAGNANAM,J This contempt petition is filed alleging non compliance of the order passed by this Court on 25.10.2021 in W.P.No.21206 of 2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st Respondent submitted that alleged encroachment has been removed and he has also filed a status report dated 06.02.2023 to that effect.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that balcony which is projecting the road side was not removed.

4. In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted if the 2/4

balcony is removed, entire building will be collapsed. He assured that without damaging the building the balcony will be made into a non usable condition.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader and the status report dated 06.02.2023, this contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
