ORDER

The petitioner lodged a complaint before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur, under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. It was forwarded to the 4th respondent in CMP. No.1121 of 2020 on 25.09.2020. Thereafter, a consequential order passed in CMP.No.1361 of 2020 on 23.10.2020, no action has been taken and no FIR has been registered and only CSR No.244 of 2020 has been assigned. Hence, the above petition seeking appropriate direction.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that in this case, after receipt of the direction from the Magistrate, FIR in Crime No.7/2021 was registered on 06.05.2021 by the 4th respondent for offence under Section 376(2)(n), 417, 420 506(ii) and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act and investigation commenced. Further, he submitted that the accused, in this case, filed a quash petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.10901 of 2021, in which, the petitioner has been arrayed as the second respondent and she made submissions and she is also aware that now, the FIR has been registered, the case is at the investigating stage.

3.Recording the above, no further order is necessary in this case. Hence, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
