ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to refix the pay of the petitioner w.e.f., 06.02.2008 in the cadre of Assistant Engineer as per the option exercised by him and accordingly revise the retirement benefits of the petitioner in pursuant to the proposal submitted by the second respondent vide his proceedings in Ka.No.370/Koo.21/C1/2024 dated 12.06.2024 to the first respondent and by considering the petitioner's representations dated 08.04.2024 and 28.06.2024, within the period that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner made representations dated 08.04.2024

and 28.06.2024 seeking to refix the pay of the petitioner w.e.f., 06.02.2008 in the cadre of Assistant Engineer. On the said representations, the second respondent had already sent a proposal to the first respondent and it is pending on the file of the first respondent.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner in view of the proposal sent by the second respondent, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
