O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2025 and direct the first and second respondents to pay the salary with arrears from the date of the petitioner's appointment, i.e. on 07.11.2022 to 30.03.2025 and to continue to pay monthly salary, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as a Sweeper and there was a proposal by the second respondent and that her appointment was already approved by the second respondent, hence her denial of payment of salary is contrary to the Rules. In this connection, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 07.04.2025 and such representation is pending with the first and second respondents.

4. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents would fairly submit that they will consider the said representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

5. In view of the submission made by the Government Advocate, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
