ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to 3rd respondent is dispensed with. 2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2024.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the land comprised in S.No.1033/6, situated at Thaliyur Kalikkanaickenpalayam, Perur Taluk, Coimbatore District, is a natham poramboke. Patta has been issued to petitioner's father in the year 1969. After the demise of petitioner's father, petitioner's family has been in continuous possession of the above mentioned property. It is submitted that in respect of subject property patta has been mutated in the name of one Rangasamy. In this regard, petitioner's mother sent a representation to the 2nd respondent on 18.12.2023, the same has not been considered till 2/6
date.
4.It is further submitted that petitioner also sent a representation to the 2nd respondent and the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Thereafter, petitioner approached the 1st respondent and submitted a representation dated 04.07.2024 for mutation of revenue records. The above representation has not been considered by the 1st respondents till date. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition has been filed.
5.At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 that petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

Considering facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2024 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, 3rd 3/6
respondent and Rangasamy and any other interested party/rival claimants, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
