(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner's grievance is that there is mis-description of the history of Nadar community in the NCERT book of Social Science-India and Contemporary World-I text book in History for Class IX, January 2009 edition. The petitioner claims to have made a representation on 30.09.2013, i.e. after four years for reasons best known to the petitioner.

2.On our query, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the chapter still exists.

3.None appears for the respondents.

4.We, thus, direct the Chairman C.B.S.E. / the first respondent to look into the grievance of the petitioner as contained in his representation dated 30.09.2013 and dispose of the representation within a maximum period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of the order, with intimation to the petitioner.
