Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to constitute a joint inspection team and to cause joint inspection of Sivarajapuram to Somalapuram Road in Tirupathur district, along with the support of technical persons and to take follow up action as per the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2020. 1/4

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to constitute a joint inspection team for inspecting Sivarajapuram to Somalapuram Road in Tirupathur district, along with the support of technical persons, and to take follow up action as per the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2020.

Without expressing anything on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to inspect the road in question and submit a report before the second respondent. On receipt of such report, the second respondent is directed to pass orders on the representation dated 06.10.2020 submitted by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. 12.09.2024 rkm 2/4
