Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to pass final order on the enquiry dated 10.03.2017 conducted by the 4th respondent pursuant to the complaint/representation given by the petitioner dated 20.12.2016 regarding irregularities committed by the 3rd respondent in the matter of tender proceedings for supply of Diet and Non-Diet Articles of Government Hospital, Uthangarai for the 2nd half year 2016-17 initiated by him on 19.12.2016 based on the tender notification dated 31.08.2016 within a reasonable time as fixed by this Honourable Court. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Baskar For Respondent : Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, Special Government Pleader (R1 to R4)

O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass final order on the enquiry dated 10.03.2017 conducted by the 4th respondent pursuant to the complaint/ representation given by the petitioner dated 20.12.2016 regarding irregularities committed by the 3rd respondent in the matter of tender proceedings for supply of Diet and Non-Diet Articles of Government Hospital, Uthangarai for the 2nd half year 2016-17 initiated by him on 19.12.2016 based on the tender notification dated 31.08.2016. 2.Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and sought time to pass final orders.

3.As the enquiry is pending on the file of the 4th respondent, which is evident from the enquiry notice dated 27.02.2017, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, considering the limited prayer, hereby directs the 4th respondent to pass appropriate final orders on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to the 5th respondent. 4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
