O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the notice issued by the President of Veppampattu Village Panchyat dated 15.07.2013, disqualifying the members for not attending three consequential meetings on 22.03.2013, 22.05.2013 and 28.06.2013.

2. Heard Ms.Lita Srinivasan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.V.Shanmugasunder, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3, Mr.Era.Premanath, learned counsel for the fourth respondent and Mr.J.Thilagaraj, learned counsel for the fifth respondent.

3. Mr.V.Shanmugasunder learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that this impugned notice was issued against the Petitioner by the fifth respondent and the term of office of both were expired and hence the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructous.

4.In view of the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
