This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders for fixation of seniority of the petitioner in the post of P.G. Assistant (Zoology)
based on the merit/ rank secured in the selection conducted by Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) vide Notification No. 010/ 2019 dated 12.06.2019 in consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.04.2026.

Assistant (Zoology) based on the merit/ rank secured in the selection conducted by Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) vide Notification No. 010/ 2019 dated 12.06.2019 in consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.04.2026."
2. The petitioner would submit that the Teacher Recruitment Board issued Notification dated 12.06.2019 for recruitment to the post of PG Assistant (Zoology). The petitioner participated in the selection process and was
provisionally selected based on qualifications and marks secured. The petitioner's service was regularised by proceedings dated 11.08.2025, with effect from the date of joining, i.e., 25.02.2021 and probation was declared by order dated 10.04.2026. The grievance of the petitioner is that the seniority in the post of P.G.Assistant (Zoology) has not been fixed based on merit. The petitioner submitted representations seeking fixation of seniority based on merit and restoration of parity with similarly selected batch mates. Since there was no response the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2026, has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
