ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner is the father of the detenu, by name, Prabhu Deva, aged about 19 years. It is alleged that he has been found missing from 18.05.2016 onwards. Hence, the petitioner has preferred a complaint to the respondent police. Since no action has been taken, he has come up before this Court with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detenu eloped with one Prabavathy aged about 19 years and the father of the said Prabavathy has preferred a complaint before the respondent and based on the same, a case was registered in Crime No.302 of 2016. It is a case of counter blast and the detenu in this case is an accused in the above case. The said statement is recorded.

In view of the above, no relief as prayed for by the petitioner could be granted. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
