Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2020 to demolish the un-authorised construction in front of the petitioner property situated at Ward No.15, New Karkana Street, Tiruvannamalai.

ORDER

[Order of this Court was delivered by T.RAJA, J.] Mr.V.Damodharan, the petitioner herein has brought this petition seeking a limited prayer to consider his representation dated 19.02.2020, wherein, he sought for action against the unauthorised construction put up in front of his property situated at Ward No.15, New Karkana Street, Tiruvannamalai. 2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in front of the petitioner's property situated at Ward No.15, New Karkana Street, Tiruvannamalai, un-authorised construction has been put up. When the petitioner approached the Bank seeking loan to develop his property, the Bank Officials denied the same on the ground that there is no access for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

entering the property. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation dated 19.02.2020 to the Tahsildar, Tiruvannamalai and also to the District Collector, Tiruvannamalai/the respondents herein. As there was no response from them, the petitioner has come to this Court.

3.Mr.K.V.Sajeev Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that six weeks' time may be given to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for in this petition and without going into the merits of the matter, we hereby direct the Tahsildar, Tiruvannamalai Taluk Office, Tiruvannamalai District/the second respondent to consider the representation dated 19.02.2020 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
