ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition praying to call for the entire records pertaining to the Crime No.136 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent, namely, the Inspector of Police, Steel Plant Police Station, Salem City and quash the same.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the dispute in this case is civil in nature. The petitioner is the owner of the property in question and the accused are no way connected with the property in question and they are totally strangers. The property is a vacant site. Further, a false has been foisted on the petitioner/accused in order to grab the property of the petitioner. The first respondent-Police are hand-in-glove and they are trying to grab the property of the petitioner. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed to quash the FIR in Crime No.136 of 2025.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. On a reading of the complaint/FIR, it is crystal clear that there are prima-facie allegations against the petitioner. Hence, there is no ground to quash 2 / 4

the FIR at this stage.

5. Therefore, the first respondent/Police is directed to expedite the investigation and file the charge-sheet before appropriate Court within a period of three months from today.
